Dita practiced ballet from a very young age
and her dream was to one day be a ballerina. Although she had danced for a local
ballet company in her early teens Dita said "By 15 I was as good as I'd ever
be", so she stopped.
Now later in life Dita's ballet training
still helps her, as she has incorporated it into many of her burlesque acts. She
is still very good at going en pointe, which requires lots of leg strength.
Doing this even just a few times a day helps Dita keep her shapely thighs and
calves.
Dita's measurements are stated as 33-21-33,
though her waist is often whittled down to 16 inches in a corset. Although her
waist will go back to normal when out of a corset, wearing one very often can
actually have an effect on the body's natural shape and after wearing one for a
long time the waist will have a naturally nipped in look.
Dita also says she spends a lot of her free
time cycling and swimming, two great exercises for the whole body.
